A fresh ginger-juice line shaped by shelf-life requirements.

A beverage project in which product characteristics and the required shelf life led to the selection of nitrogen dosing.

01

Project brief

The Jamaica project started with the beverage itself: fresh ginger juice and the shelf life required for distribution. Nitrogen dosing was selected as part of the proposed process route.

02

Product decisions lead the configuration

Juice composition, oxygen exposure, filling temperature, container and closure all influence the required process. The equipment route therefore has to follow an approved product specification rather than a generic juice-line package.

  • Confirm recipe and product behaviour
  • Define the required shelf life and storage route
  • Select the process and filling conditions
  • Coordinate container, closure and secondary packaging

From discussion to equipment scope

The available image records the customer and engineering team beside the equipment. It reflects the project-discussion stage needed to translate a product requirement into a practical connected line.
